comment Using wsgi with python 2.6 on ubuntu
It's not clear whether there is a real problem at all. You answered yourself how you could make warnings go away.

comment Bridge virtual machines out WLAN interface
Thomas, are you saying everything is buggy but bridge and KVM are magically invulnerable? Take it further, use a USB WLAN adapter directly from inside the VM.

comment how to block packetflood originating from certain network but different IPs
There're too many duplicate/unneeded lines. Use a CIDR calculator to shorten the number of lines by an order magnitude. For example, 78.111.96.0/18, 80.93.208.0/20 already cover subsequent lines. 78.160.* could be handled by 78.160.0.0/12 etc.

For consistency you could try making aliases for /test1/ and /test2/ and redirecting accordingly.

comment setting up svn on a FreeBSD server with SSH access
Do you want to know how to add users to the system or how to create a repository? What seems to be the problem?

comment FreeBSD ipfw firewall_type
It will not add anything, and at the end the default rule will be (usually it is deny; check sysctl net.inet.ip.fw.default_to_accept).

comment Routing to a different gateway depending on destination for Windows Network
I suspect most kinds of hosts will ignore ICMP redirects so traffic will always bounce off the 254 gateway which would make me uncomfortable. :) But if configuring clients with static route needs to be avoided -- OK then.

comment Freeware Virtualization, Virtual PC vs VMWare, Central Dashboard, etc
VirtualBox works very well. Also there's an open-source version, though it has less features. There're some downsides however. Serial port emulation is rather bad. No snapshot branching yet.

If there's nothing else on the machine why use priority at all?

Yes, that's wrong. Tunnel through ssh to make your connection come from outside.
