Great. Looked supermicro supported memory page, I have 4x4G RDIMM already, does that mean I can't simply add 2 x 8G to get to 32G?

Hi Joeqwerty, Yes. Confirmed. My license is for Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise, and my Server is running Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard.

Hi TheCleaner, do you mean use DISM to change edition? I tried DISM, but failed, because this server is a Domain Controller. Will have to use Setup CD to change edition if I have to.

Just add a screenshot. Hi Dan, I am not sure if my Enterprise license is VLK or MAK. It comes with Microsoft Action Pack Subscription. Maybe it is MAK?
