comment “Oracle initialization or shut down in progress” problem
What is the platform and how do you connect (locally from the dbserver of via the network)?

comment How to delete data and free up disk space in Oracle DBMS 9i
There will be downtime[s] mainly caused by the rebuild of indexes that became unusable during table move[s]. A lot of downtime can be prevented using dbms_redefinition but not all, there will at least be short outages.

download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E11882_01/appdev.112/e16760/… Start a new logminer session, add the files you want and query the V$LOGMNR_CONTENTS view to actually read the contents. Keep an eye on the alertlog, usefull debugging info appears here.

comment openldap 2.4.11 - bdb_dn2id: get failed: DB_NOTFOUND: No matching key/data pair found (-30989)
I tested on Linux and it worked, with apparently the same config. So I decided to install openldap from ftp.nl.uu.net/pub/unix/db/openldap/openldap-release/… using ./config --prefix=/usr/local This resulted in an error regarding a wrong version of Berkelydb. So I downloaded download.oracle.com/berkeley-db/db-4.8.30.tar.gz ran configure --prefix=/usr/local, installed it and ran configure for openldap again with more luck. After installation it worked right away, no problems ever since. Not that I can say that I know what the problem was but for me it is enough. R.
