chkconfig --list - list all services and their state (start/stop levels). chkconfig --level 2345 iptables on - tells that iptables script (from /etc/init.d/iptables) should be started at startup levels 2,3,4 and 5. /etc/init.d/iptables read it's config from file /etc/sysconfig/iptables.

chkconfig - updates and queries runlevel information for system services - simply speaking chkconfig is used for setting which service should be start automaticaly (at system startup). You can also use "ntsysv" command (if there is no such command installed - yum install ntsysv).

comment Varnish - Cookie
Good point about Vary. If he use cookies to generate diffrent contenet for one url he must sent Vary header from backend. This could be added to vcl but much better plece for this is a backend.

hash_data(req.url) is included in default vcl. There is no return(hash) in my function so default code will be added.

comment How to dynamically generate iptables rule?
One more thing. The DNAT target is only valid in the PREROUTING and OUTPUT chains.

comment How to solve this IP address/connection conflict during server move?
I think the problem is with routing. For new server the old ip address is local (from the new server point of view).

comment Can't connect to postgresql on local machine using IP + pgadmin
Do you restarted your pgsql server? And check your firewall and look at output: netstat -ltpn. Is there tcp port 5432 on listen state?
