I was originally trained as an architect, but soon discovered I had a knack for web development through building by own site to promote my design work.

MySQL timeout only from office network to remote server, but other connections are fine Hi, thanks for you help. The issue appears to have been resolved since the router was restarted. That said, I'll see if I can follow your advice to prevent anything similar occurring again. |

MySQL timeout only from office network to remote server, but other connections are fine I initially thought that, but wouldn't that also affect Connection #10 which the method is identical, but a different server? As far as I know, they're using the same port number. If there a way to confirm which port is being used on a connection? |

Mac OS X Lion BIND DNS settings for local site not working I must confess that I am not entirely informed on how DNSes work. I should note that other users can already access my webroot, in my case, creative.local using the method you suggested. Perhaps it's possible to have a subdomain instead? |

Transferring emails messages from one server to another Wow, that was A LOT easier than I was expecting it to be. Did the whole thing in Thunderbird. Email is not exactly my area of experties, I just assume everything is difficult :D Thanks |
