A future college dropout with background in computer engineering, with a tendency for acute panic attacks when something's broken and he may have had something to do with it in the course of the last several months.
Found a deep love for Mercurial and Python by extension (seriously, I've started several projects just so i could hg commit).
Currently working at a telemarketing company as an 'IT specialist' (you can bet heavy lifting was involved at some point), managing the few remaining Linux servers. Practical experience with Debian-based Linux distributions and FreeBSD.
Physically unable to retain any C-related knowledge.

Rewriting sender address based on the recipient Yes, I did read the whole thing. There are no error messages, the whole smtp_generic_maps clause is just silently ignored, probably because the mail gets processed by amavis sooner than rewriting is done. I did enable verbose logging for this, but didn't see anything out of the ordinary. Still, disabling amavis solves this problem (and causes a bunch of others, I'm sure), so I'm fairly sure that rewriting is set up correctly. I still didn't consult amavis mailing list, to that might turn something up. |

Cannot install mercurial properly - PYTHONPATH error Did you install Mercurial 1.7.2 at all (the version I linked was 1.7.5)? I guess my first impulse would be to grep -r "1\.7\.2" in python libraries directory and see what it turned out. I have a VM with Ubuntu 10, will try to reproduce the issue there. |

Cannot install mercurial properly - PYTHONPATH error I don't claim to have a solution, just a workaround. I'm partial to instant gratification. Also, could you specify the benefits lost (other than the package being about a year behind the current stable version)? |
