What does your routing table look like when you set it up using 127.0.0.7? netstat -rn or route print will get you the info.

Nexus is a line of product of it's own. It has nothing to do with the Cisco 7000 series, a product that's End-of-Sale and End-of-Life. I added a link to the product description. I also changed switch to router...my bad.

Are you taking over the website or the actual domain? At the end of the day, the owner of the domain should choose who will host the Name Servers for that domain.
