Configure Munin graphs to show different time periods I can ssh and edit text files fine, just don't know the right files to edit/etc. Munin's doc is written in a way that you would have to have a decent understanding of how munin is setup already. |

Configure Munin graphs to show different time periods I have to disagree with the value of the results. Even though it only updates every 5 minutes, my graphs still show a great deal of detail. I would just like to ZOOM in on smaller times. As for the rest of what you said, that is beyond my ability right now unless someone has a quick guide? |

Configure Munin graphs to show different time periods I noticed this. I also noticed in the faq doesn't say much (or isn't specific enough for me to understand) about customizing graphs. The stuff they had was vague on where to even put it... I was also disappointed that there wasn't a forum I could join. There's a mailing list, but I'm very unfamiliar with those and the ones I've seen are annoying to follow. I figured I could go edit a config file through ssh and at least change the time periods of the current graphs. |

Apache slows randomly This taught me a lot. Especially th part about apache bench. I honestly still don't know what the problem was though... as soon as I posted this, it disappeared the next morning. My guess is that one of the hops between the 2 test servers was having issues. This would explain why my godaddy vps and my pc weren't having any problems. Thank you for your help!! |

Apache slows randomly Small update: I don't know what is going on, but my server is going WARP 10 this morning... some scripts are hitting the 7 minute completion range... |

Apache slows randomly Wow that's a lot of extremely useful information! Thank you very much! I'll probably be messing with this all day long now. I just ran a sample test on google.com and got 6879 completed requests in 36 seconds... so I"m curious to whether this is apache anymore.. I'm looking into the php handler as it's the only thing different. |

Apache slows randomly It's also a 1Gps pipe. I know other servers on the rack could be affecting my server, but I'm hardly using any pipe while doing this. It also doesn't matter how many scripts I have running, the speed is random and the same for all of them (whether 1 or 20). Which is not the case for my vps, it runs fast (but does vary in speed depending on the time of day/etc.. cuz it's on a 100% shared resource). |

Apache slows randomly I don't see that being the case considering the pure-ftp service worked beyond expectations. Each script sends the 2500 requests in serial, so it's really only 4 connections going in and out at any time. I believe the ftp test uploaded a max of 6-7 in parallel. I realize that 6-7 is 50-75% more than 4. I'll run the same test with 1 upload and 2500 requests max here in a second to see what happens. |
