comment Measuring network speed between many servers
Thanks, @Mughil. Can you advise a fine tip how can I use nc in that case? For example, I'd like to measure speed between 5 servers (182.168.1.[2-6] from 192.168.1.1 I connected. Should I run nc pair for every of them? Are there any better way?

Oh, there is no pvextend command. pvscan shows this: PV /dev/sda2 VG VolGroup lvm2 [49.51 GiB / 0 free] Total: 1 [49.51 GiB] / in use: 1 [49.51 GiB] / in no VG: 0 [0 ]

Thanks for the answer. Yes, I executed pvcreate with the force flag. :( But good news is that I experimented with the not important VM. I'm trying lvextend -L +250G -r -t -v /dev/mapper/VolGroup-lv_root (the test run). As I see, pv wasn't extended: "fsadm: "ext4" filesystem found on "/dev/mapper/VolGroup-lv_root". fsadm: Skipping filesystem check for device "/dev/mapper/VolGroup-lv_root" as the filesystem is mounted on /. fsadm failed: 3. Extending logical volume lv_root to 291.68 GiB. Insufficient free space: 64000 extents needed, but only 0 available." Should I run pvextend?

comment Print documents to PDF files via command line in Wine
Update. I know there are commands to print from Word, Excel, Powerpoint utilities to a file (to default system printer). I can exec them via cmd.exe. So, the more concrete problem is - is it possible to exec such commands via cmd via wine console? For example, I want to print a DOCX via cmd. I can do it via "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office14\WINWORD.EXE /P "C:\Path to\My_file.docx". The default printer will be used. Commands for Excel and Powerpoint are similar. I need help with wine variation, because when I try to type these commands - I receive a blue screen of wine.
