revised Iptables drop forwarded traffic destined for interface IP address
Change interface to match question. Correct -D to -I. Correct FORWARD table to INPUT. Wow, lots of mistakes.

comment Using .local for internal websites
After reading this question, I decided on ".in.mydomain.com" and I've been pleased. "in" being short for "internal" of course. Even makes for great ssh aliases: "ssh host1.in" and let the ~/.ssh/config file sort the rest out.

comment Trying to get SSH with public key (no password) + google authenticator working on Ubuntu 14.04.1
@NickWilliams I was having the same issue. What fixed it for me was that I needed to commend out the @include common-auth line that the answers shows. I just thought it was a comment for the pam_google_authenticator line in /etc/pam.d/sshd at first.

comment What is the correct pronunciation of Nagios?
I use a hard 'g'. I just found a second person using a soft 'g' which is how I found this page.

comment Configuring rlm_rest module in FreeRadius
Just tested your update for the authorize section and it seems to be working fine. Updated my test web server to deliver a 401 and the was receiving an Access-Reject as expected. Thanks for all the help. I'm pretty new to FreeRADIUS and am still learning. This module is exactly what I needed.

comment Configuring rlm_rest module in FreeRadius
Thanks for the answer. I'm definitely on the next step of the issue. It is now authorizing but when it gets to the authentication section, it gives the error ERROR: rest : Can't perform authentication, 'Cleartext-Password' attribute not found in the control list. I'm not returning the cleartext password in the REST response as I'd like to rely on the web server for the logic. Maybe this isn't how it works?

comment dnsmasq: how to increase TTL?
The use case I'm currently looking at with regards to this questing is uptime monitoring on locations with a dynamic IP address using a dynamic IP DNS service. I'm nearly exceeding the allotted monthly DNS queries. The TTL is set to 60 for good reason but I'd like to override this value for one specific domain to reduce my queries.

comment dnsmasq & Tomato - Elminate the need for a trailing dot for name resolution
Very helpful. I found similar posts that didn't ever resolve the issue by including the phrase "trailing dot". So maybe this comment will help those people using the same search I was.
