I'm just a programmer with some big ideas.

My blog is at http://redxdev.com, and I usually have a few projects on display there.

Mostly I'm into game development, though I'm also interested in distributed computing and web development.

Duh! I forgot about that one! I'll try it as soon as I finish trying out ISPConfig. Thanks!

Owch. S3 is supposed to be pretty cheap, but I guess when you have traffic like that it might be a problem. You could also try to get cheap unlimited hosting just for static content.

comment What is a good alternative to webmin for dedicated server management?
Actually, I just tried webmin (without virtualmin), and it is just what I need. Thanks a lot.

comment What are the ups and downs of CentOS and Ubuntu Server?
Thanks. I'm just trying a bunch of different OSes, and pretty much I'm choosing between a redhat based distro, hence CentOS, or what I know, which is Ubuntu/Debian. I'm moving towards CentOS mainly because I'm seeing a few pieces of software made just for RH-based distros, and I'm thinking to use this as a chance to learn a new distro.

Thanks. I tried virtualmin, and it was nice, but not what I needed. I think my problem isn't looking for an alternative, but just looking at a slightly different category of software.
