On a windows box, I believe that is correct. However, I'm unsure whether or not you will be able to do it easily in the gui. I know windows does have the functionality, but you might want to look at writing a script with chmod to do the adjustment.

As it happens, we had both a set of bad PTR entries and a bad A record entry. Still figuring out how to change windows DNS A records. I'm a linux guy so the ui is unfamiliar to me.
