Hmm... what to say... is 'generalist' a dirty word?
I take a holistic approach to software development; bare-metal, comms infrastructure, programming languages, and all the obvious (and less-obvious) dependencies can make a huge difference to achieving mission objectives - i.e. producing something that works reliably, does whatever it's supposed to, and is maintainable/supportable.
Don't think there's much else to say. Oh, and I like beer.

What should I do about this user? Silly question, but do you have an AUP, and is the employee aware of it? If so, make HR or their manager aware of the problem, if it really is a problem. |

What language for starting on Linux? A bit off topic, but I think the main reason for PHPs popularity is many of the functions that would be in scattered across many linker-library/packages in other languages are standard in PHP (bit like bundling most things you'll ever need in libc) |
