Recommendations for hosting Rails on Amazon EC2? One option I'm looking at now is scalr.net which is free for up to 8 EC2 servers and has a pretty easy system to get a vanilla rails app up and running quickly |

Best hosting options for Rails I host a lot of sites on Dreamhost but I wouldn't recommend them for Rails hosting. My Rails sites regularly are slow to load or pages don't load at all. Heroku, Engineyard, Railsplayground, etc are all better choices for hosting Rails. |
