comment How do I speed up and cache mmap file access over NFS on Linux?
I'd certainly suggest using nfs v4. It should help because of the byte range reservations

comment how to change screen resolution in rhel/centos 6?
@8bitjunkie care to give more of a reason? How is it not an answer? I posted specific instructions that have worked for me in the past.

comment Do any well-known CAs issue Elliptic Curve certificates?
Do any CAs supporting ECC support tools.ietf.org/html/rfc7027 (brainpool curves)?

comment Is there a smarter tar or cpio out there for efficiently retrieving a file stored in the archive?
according to the tar man page man7.org/linux/man-pages/man1/tar.1.html, GNU tar will by default use the seekable format when writing, and if the archive is seekable, will use it when reading (for list or extract). If you are using GNU tar and still seeing the issue, you should file a bug report with GNU.

comment Exclude specific domains from Apache2 serverAlias while using a catch all *(wildcard) alias
for a site definition that needs to come first, name it something like 000-excluded.example.com.conf in the sites-available dir.

comment How can I make apache give the config file path and line number for a 403 error
here's my LogLevel line: LogLevel info wsgi:trace6 auth_basic:trace6 authn_core:trace6 authnz_external:trace6 authz_host:trace6 authn_file:trace6 authz_core:trace6 authz_owner:trace6. I didn't get any more debugging info in the error log at the time of the request. If you like, I can paste the whole log on pastebin. The logs show lots of lines showing authorization granted, or denied, but not the config file triggering it, which is not very helpful. I'd be willing to try changing all my configs to the new require syntax, but that would be a huge pain, since I have lots of config files.

I posted all the messages I saw in the apache error log. I'm using mod_access_compat because I have tons of conf files still using the old syntax.

It still doesn't tell me which file has the relevant Require line that i triggering the error.
