@fantius, each SSD is visible to the OS in software RAID so yes, it could be passed to all drives in the array. That is the point about software RAID, only in "fake raid" or hardware based raid are the drives hidden and presented to the OS as a lump sum.

As a broad question the only possible answer is one word (yes or no) but still one word since you used the qualifier "any". Only if you allow someone to give a specific example including OS and raid level will you get a proper answer that can be verified.

Note: most BMC and hardware raid controllers won't pass the trim command so even with a compliant OS you may not be able to trim the drive.
