Ah thanks @kasperd - it's a while since I answered one of my own.

comment cannot login via ssh
@YuraVasylenko glad it's working, when ServerFault allows you, you should come back and enter that as an answer, so it's detailed there rather than just as a comment.

comment How to rotate a log file from crontab?
@DomingoSL the point is, the machine on which you are running your crontab entry probably does have logrotate installed. You can use logrotate to rotate any logs, including your own, and it's probably the most standard solution. Are you the sysadmin for this machine or is it shared hosting or something?

comment Restore of AIX backup on other Unix system
It doesn't help directly (so not an answer) but I believe the actual content is stored in AIX's BFF (backup-file format) structure (which is what backup and restore work with). A quick search doesn't reveal any non-AIX tools which can read those formats however.

comment debian set eth0 autoneg off speed 1000 duplex full: Invalid argument
@vladr the OP edited the question after I posted my answer, and included the command, it wasn't in the question when I originally wrote my answer.

comment Apache 2.2 won't start with an ipv6 address
Which OS (and Linux distribution), is Apache compiled from source or installed with a package manager, does your machine have ipv6 fully configured, etc. Unless you add more detail, I suspect this question will be at risk of being closed.
