IIS getting 401 response back the Client always sends the correct domain. what i am seeings is that on failure audit logs is that the domain name is the local computer name. looks at network packets it tries to do NTLM only. I am using SOAP UI to call the web service and it automatically sends the auth credentials that i have provided when setting up the project |

IIS getting 401 response back on audit faulier i am seeing that the Domain name is set to the local computer name instead of Domain name. when its sent from client side its always set to domain name. so the audit error says the bad username or password. do you know how a domain name could be missing somehow or dropped. this web box sits behind the loadbalancer and the web app is a virtual directory under default site. |
