Can VRRP be used between 2 interfaces on the same node instead of between 2 nodes? I thought spanning tree was used for switches. What would I use on the router side being that I can not put 2 ports in a single vlan? |

Looking for Free Virtual Cisco Lab Thanks for the info. I downloaded GNS3, but it is so incredibly annoying. It has preset nodes, and I am unable to get it to add a 3750 to the list of nodes. The switch node that is already present will not allow me to add more than 1 vlan for a dot1q trunk interface. I am unable to add a G1 card to 7206 node, but can add individual GigE interfaces to the available slots. Problem is, after I add a GigE interface, configure it, save it, and go back to it, it is no longer there. Just disappears. Grrrr. So Buggy |

Looking for Free Virtual Cisco Lab To be more specific, I would like to find a virtual lab that allows me to design my own topology as well. |

How can I install OpenBSD to a SSD without a Optical Drive? This is what was bought, along with a 4GB Flash SSD to plug in it. supermicro.com/products/motherboard/ATOM/ICH9/… . I originally planned on using M0n0wall that has an image download designed for installing on SSD Flash, but unfortunately M0n0wall doesn't support my Network Adapter. Now, I am atttempting to install Native OpeBSD, or Native FreeBSD, but clueless on where to start. |

How can I install OpenBSD to a SSD without a Optical Drive? From my limited understanding, I believe that this is a SATADOM 4GB SSD flash drive |

How can I install OpenBSD to a SSD without a Optical Drive? Well there are multiple downloads, and I am not sure which one to grab. I believe that the only way to install to an SSD is by downloading an image file, but not sure which one to install that is bootable, since I do not have a CD Drive, or any other method of installing onto this box. This might be a dumb question, but im a router guy, and not used to working with Server software, or hardware. |
