comment Fake Server Uptime (Linux/Windows)
I am not going to try this out anywhere. It is just a question wandering in my mind for a long time and I never had a definitive answer from anyone (so far I asked). I would have really appreciated you guys if you would have simply said "we can't" or "we shouldn't". I thought this place is for knowledge sharing and now I am really disappointed.

comment cPanel server - redirect from local IP to URL
What kind of application you are trying to deploy? Please add more details in your question. Normally, you can point the domain to your server IP and then can use ProxyPass in apache conf to redirect the traffic to that domain to your internal app running in 0.0.0.0:3000

well, 0.0.0.0 means all interfaces and you can simply access the application using your-public-ip:3000

comment Configuring CentOS Apache Server for IP Based VirtualHost?
Normally, the first virtualhost domain will be served when accessing the IP when you host multiple virtualhosts on the same IP. So, if there is only one virtualhost, I guess you got it :)

comment Installing PHP PECL memcached extension on CentOS 5.6
Well, in your question you said you can't use that repo and at last you had to depend on tat :) Also be aware that memcache & memcached are two different pecl extensions. So the functions may differ depending on the extension you are using.

comment Can you explain this to me #ln -s :“target is not a directory”?
Normally, ln accepts 2 file paths and if it is more than two, the target must be a directory. I still wonder why it counts your parameters like this way!!!

comment Why is my directadmin server always using its server certificate?
The filename may be correct, however did you verified the files to confirm that they are actually the correct crt & key.? /usr/local/directadmin/data/users/admin/domains/mirandaio.com.cert /usr/local/directadmin/data/users/admin/domains/mirandaio.com.key /usr/local/directadmin/data/users/admin/domains/mirandaio.com.cacert

You define the log path in "AltLog" directive itself along with the preferred format.

comment Running a command as root from my local machine
Ofcourse, yes. You need to set "PermitRootLogin without-password" which will only allow root login using appropriate ssh-key. All password authentication requests will be denied for user root.

comment Running a command as root from my local machine
actually you setup passwordless key authentication for root itself and use root when doing rsync.

You are backing up to local machine, right.? why don't you consider using ssh-key for root rather than pass + su ?

comment Sending mail to multiple addresses does not work
Thats weird..What about the echo in the second script? It will tell you whether your script reads the input properly.

Also, REMOTE_ADDR is the most appropriate than REMOTE_HOST, right?
