comment How can I delay sshd login after bad password
@singh Then check where your PAM config lives. Might not be the same for all systems, surely if you've set up SSHD you're capable of locating the PAM config...

comment Is it unwise to publish my server configuration?
@MarkvanLent One could argue that relying on someone not knowing your conf is security through obscurity, which is by definition not security. A determined attacker targeting specifically your VPS would get all the info he needs anyway. As long as you don't publish private keys / passwords, you'll be fine.

comment Should I harden my SSH if I only allow my IP in iptables?
If you only log in from one IP, why do you even HAVE password authentication? Just switch to key only and live happily ever after. The only time you really need pwd logins is when you have to be able to login from anywhere and don't always know beforehand where that "anywhere" could be.

comment 100% uptime for a web application
@Sirex Referring to the recent experiment @ CERN where neutrinos have been found to travel faster than light. Results yet to be confirmed by independent scientists though.

Well, they used to say going faster than light is impossible because it would need infinite energy... :)
