Adept at CS theory, willing to admit I'm still learning when it comes to actual software engineering.

Student at the University of West Florida, where I'm triple majoring in CS(specializations: embedded systems and artificial intelligence), Physics (Electromagnetism and materials science), and Math (differential equation theory & numerical analysis). Wrapping up my last year.

I used to work at a small outfit doing numerical/scientific computing. I did analysis of algorithms for massively multithreaded architectures, and the majority of my work has been accelerating linear algebra calculations by using GPGPU techniques (specifically, NVidia's CUDA cards). Near the end of my time there, we got in to Android app development which ended up on my desk as well (not happy about it, as I'm an admitted iOS fanboy).

I now work for the Florida Institute for Human and Machine Cognition in the robotics lab

In my spare time I also like toying around with Web dev and Web design and I'm very interested in HTML5/CSS3 and the direction it is taking interactivity on the internet. The mobile dev I did at the day job coupled with my love for iOS has also caused me to begin looking at iOS app development.
