@Fujin take a look at device42. There is support for custom key/value pairs for your exact requirements and it runs on Hyper V as well.

Should have read carefully :). Well I have tried some tcp packet shaper utilities for linux but never got them to work on server side. We ended up using network router to do the traffic limiting for us. For linux level, you can read more here: linuxquestions.org/questions/linux-networking-3/…

comment Clustering F5 Big-IP Devices; Is it Possible?
I believe in higher end you can do active/active clustering and by active/active it actually means actually/passive for certain IPs and passive/active for another set of IPs or IP. So at any given time, one IP will only be active on only one F5. As your capacity increases, practically, you would end up just upgrading your F5 hardware to higher performance box.

good points, why didn't I think of these :). Network type is Flexible. Is that good or should I try other type? I believe the tools are latest, I have to confirm that with my windows administrator for that.
