comment Client doing ARP-requests on IP-Range
@kasperd How am I supposed to know if .241 is the client outside his DHCP scope range, or if .47-58 are the ones outside his range? I'm not going to guess my way to an answer. People need to realize that this site is done on a volunteer basis, and the only way to get (proper) help is to provide enough information when asking questions. Carry on with the semantics but I'm done with this.

@kasperd Thanks for lecturing me on how networking is done, i'll sure keep it in mind when I manage our 80-site MPLS network. That being said, the OP gave absolutely no info about how his DHCP scope is set up, or where his static IP's are in the subnet.

Maybe I'm blind or something, but I can't see any other network being used or queried than 192.168.178.X - is this the IP range you say that you don't have? This makes no sense.

Do they run with lower resolutions? Or a different refresh rate? I'm having a hard time decrypting your question as you don't actually explain what goes wrong, other than "it does not work".

comment Mouse cursor jumps around when using RDP
I completely forgot to change the accepted answer - the touchpad driver was the culprit. Users were hammering their keyboard, and the touchpad driver didn't disable the touchpad when users type (like it should).

comment Enable gateway only for authenticated clients
What you're describing is essentially a Captive Portal. Surely there must be some products out there that you could use, instead of re-inventing the wheel?

@Tech are you absolutely sure that you specified vlan41 as a source when pinging?
