comment How to see traffic traversing a Cisco ASA by inside host?
@vrtigo1 no, you can log the connection statistics as well. I'm not very into details on this one, but the ASA does have plenty of logging if you enable it all (TCP teardown etc - it shows how much traffic each session used)

comment BITS policies to limit bandwitdth usage is not taking effect
@HopelessN00b 1) Yep, verified (and tested through bitsadmin). 2) The server doesn't run BITS, WSUS provides updates through HTTP(S). I'll try to raise it to 128kbit, but that will eat up our poor 4mbit remote offices that has 60 clients.

They're not on the same subnet, sorry for not including that in the question. It's updated now.

@Dan I haven't tried that no, but we really really need to have clients patching after work hours..

comment Why don't TP-Link 24x-switches propagate clients when cascaded in two?
Is the TL-ER6120 a router for your subnet, and is it a DHCP server? Do you have DHCP reservations configured on it? Edit: Kudos for the oldschool ASCII drawing :)

@MarkusWMahlberg Stop trying to portray yourself as some kind of hurt victim. You came here and told us that we are wrong, and we told you that we're not. Focus your effort on the main site instead, as it's THERE we need the help and effort.

@MarkusWMahlberg You've been a member for 3 months and you have 498 reputation. How about if you return in 4 years after being active every single day on the site and tell us how you feel? Cause that's what everyone else is doing....
