It shouldn't impact a default IIS install in a noticeable way, but if you have apps running on top of IIS (ASP.NET/etc) then I would definitely do a compatibility test offline before performing the upgrade.

Are you sure this is a perfmon and not a kernel dump? .BLP is usually a perfmon export, and .dmp is usually a crash dump extension. To be sure, download 'Debugging tools for Windows' and confirm by using the 'open crash dump' menu item. If it opens properly, they sent you a crash dump and not perfmon output.
