Thank you! I saw that flush privileges earlier, and ran it once. But nothing happened. I assume I had an error as you said and display errors was switched off. I switched it on, realised, and changed it. Thank you so much!

comment Node.js Build failed: -> task failed (error#2)?
I haven't attempted to in a while. I got bored and moved on. I'll no doubt start playing with it again soon so thanks! I'm sure I'll run into the issue again.

comment Node.js Build failed: -> task failed (error#2)?
To be honest, I've had a big problem with Python from the start. I accidentally uninstalled it, couldn't get it reinstalled, but finally did... I used the original RPM from the installation disc, and I thought that was the end of it. By the sounds of things it isn't. In the end I used this link: community.webfaction.com/questions/75/issue-nodejs-installation I'm now having problems with G++. I need to update from 3.x (whatever version I'm on) to at least 4.I tried to do a yum update, and then a yum install gcc44, but no matches. Any ideas on that one? I'm on CentOS 4.9

I copied the rpm's from the disc to my computer, then FTP'd them onto the server, and reinstalled ... Turns out it was still a Python problem. I think I had the wrong version or something. Just some minor yum issues to fix now. Thanks! :D

Turns out the installation CD was a Mistero - Web Server disc. It has things like BlueQuartz and Webmin on it. I can't boot with this to boot into a rescue mode.

I'm not sure where my disc is at the moment, so I'll go digging for it. I'll see what I can do when I put the disc in, I'll see what options come up :) Thanks
