Are you trying to add the features using PowerShell in post-install phase when Windows starts or when it is still in PE?

comment Sending mail notifications from Windows Server 2003 Powershell 2.0 to Office 365
1. technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn554323.aspx is the requirements for using SMTP. In this case your senario seems closest to "Client SMTP Submission". Make sure you meet all the requirements. 2. SSL 3 is not supported in Office 365 anymore because it is too insecure, make sure you OS/Schannel can use TLS 1.0, which Server 2003 should only just be able to do.

comment Import Powershell AD Module during MDT Task Sequence
@MxGorply Ah ok, so there is not a problem with the execution of the commands? The warning is because when the module imports it will automatically try to bind using the current credentials which aren't valid, this would be expected. If the commands are running then I would worry about the warning before you supplied credentials. You can use -WarningAction SilentlyContinue to supress the message on the import-module command.

comment Import Powershell AD Module during MDT Task Sequence
@MxGorply Can you confirm: 1. that the script is being executed after Windows starts after OS install like in a State Restore phase or is it in a earlier phase in WinPE or in an OS being refreshed. 2. Before this step is run, have you already executed a join/rejoin domain step.

comment How do I set a local user a user rights assignment on an active directory GPO?
You would do this by just typing the name in to the first popup of the add to user right assignment. Bulitin only work for the accounts and groups shipped with windows.

comment gpo proxy server settinngs for all applications
Implementation of a GPO method for controlling settings is completely dependant on the application supporting configuration via the Windows registry. If the settings are stored in a file you would need another method like script to make the changes. Normally you would block them at a firewall to force them through a proxy.

comment TS 2008 - Remote session - Black screen on logon
A black screen on Terminal Services / Remote Desktop Services almost always indicates high load or resource contention on the server.
