See the second paragraph at the top of this page - be amazed. It's easy to see what active mods are doing, you see their actions all over meta and main.

Why is this a problem? What's wrong with taking time out and coming back? I think it's better to do that than to just do the bare minimum to hold on to a ♦ whilst not really moderating or being a community leader. even taking a back set I do more than you and several of the mods we currently have. Where are you on meta or main - nowhere to be seen - some community leader you are.

You haven't noticed? Perhaps you should spend some more time on the site Mark instead of hiding out in the backroom somewhere. @MarkHenderson

comment What is the difference between truss -D and truss -E?
Could it be used for profiling ?

@MarkusWMahlberg There are some small communities that do well on SE look at dba.se or ne.se and others. SF has wide scope, small audience and should be a high quality arena where systems people can interact with their peers. Unfortunately we just have a helldesk for SO and a river of poor quality drool as a consequence.

There is no safe procedure to upgrade from EL5 to EL6. Throwing CPanel into the mix makes it even less likely.

I disagree with everything you have to say @Markus. You have not been around long enough to full appreciate the sewer that Server Fault has become. The End.

14 votes is less than 1 a month so I'd say 'sparingly' was a good description of your whole (voting) record.

For me actions speak louder than words and your paucity of action speaks volumes. You never review, almost never vote or flag, you have no notable badges and your activity is low. How is this a good basis for being a moderator ?

I wouldn't call 1 year and 3 months 'recent'. Based on that your activity is very low - how does this set you up to be a moderator? What sort of things need a 'fresh face' to look at them ?

'Almost Never' is based on the facts before us - just look at your own stats.

I don't think you're a good candidate. For me actions speak louder than words and your paucity of action speaks volumes. You almost never vote, review, flag or participate on meta. You have few noteworthy badges too. How is this a good platform for a moderator ?

I don't see you as a viable candidate. For me, actions speak louder than words and your paucity of action speaks volumes. You almost never vote, don't review or flag and you have no noteworthy badges. How does activity like that a good basis for being a moderator ?

comment How can I execute sibling scripts outside the directory?
You need to speak to your manager about some much needed education. If you don't know what ./ means then you are woefully unprepared for the job you are being asked to do.

@HopelessN00b that's why I said apparent activity - if it can't be seen then it didn't happen.
