comment Configure Supervisor to manage init.d services
Because I want to have the same config across all environments, and on the local one, just not have supervisor installed. This way it will work both on production with supervisor and locally without. Also, I've seen that supervisor can do that with postfix. It doesn't use the init.d script, but somehow both ways work together.

comment Fastest option for a PHP webserver
Well let's be honest. Wordpress is a crappy (to say the least) blog system. It's actually one of the worst I've ever seen, down there with Drupal and a few others. Benchmarking a "hello world" script in PHP says that Apache does about the same as nginx (in fact a bit better), if your AllowOverride is set to None.

comment SSL on local sub-domain and sub-sub-domain
Sorry, forgot to add that part to the code. I do have NameVirtualHost *:443 at the top of the file, right after NameVirtualHost *:80

comment How to redirect traffic to http
Doesn't work either. I've opted for a redirect from my application for now, because I needed something fast, but I'd still be open for a htaccess redirect if it's possible.

Thanks. I got about the same thing at docs.sendgrid.com/documentation/get-started/integrate/examples/… and I just needed to copy paste it and it worked. It's basically the same thing you said, so I'm going to accept your answer in about 5 minutes :)

comment *Simple* way to block DDoS by number of requests
Isn't there an option in iptables to only block the requests for 10 minutes, until the attacker gets bored and goes away?

I see. And do I have to run these commands from time to time, like in a cron job, or do they start as services?

comment Get varnishlog to log only 503 errors into file
Editing /etc/init.d/varnishlog had no effect (still logged all hits). Tried nohup, logged in again and it's still in the process list, so I'm guessing it worked. Thanks!

comment How to test if cookie contains pattern VCL (Varnish)
I already have something like: if (req.http.Cookie ~ "(VARNISH|DRUPAL_UID)") { return (pass); }. Should I just add this afterwards?

comment Setting up subdomain of existing site with local apache
Ah, I see now, so both should listen to port 80, but they should be name-based hosts. Think I also have to uncomment the line NameVirtualHost *:80 in this case. Thanks!

I will... when it will throw OOM... it's not doing it now, so it might take a while.

comment High memory even tho no traffic
OK, that seems fair to me. I've used the command on that site, and I have 31GB free. However when looking back on system logs, I see a lot of Out of memory, killing (httpd) messages. I will investigate this further. If you want to post your comment as an answer, I will gladly accept it. Thanks!

But I have no procmailrc file. Makes me wonder if my sendmail+procmail are really used.

Yes, it's procmail. Yaay! P=/usr/bin/procmail is the code. Thank you :)
