Yes, the screenshot is from SSMS 2008, because that's what I have installed on my machine (I access the server remotely), but as I said, the server is running SQL Server 2005. Thanks :)

I've done my usual google-fu and this is the first time ever I'm not able to find a resolution (in fact I haven't even been able to find any mention to a problem like this), so I finally decided to ask here. It's my first question on a forum in a looong time. I've also tried removing those counters and clicking again on the menu, with no luck.
