comment Copy files from custom DVD to RHEL
It doesn't exist at all as far as I could see. There is a /mnt/isodir directory which contains the ISO and I had to resort to manually mounting this ISO to gain access to the contents of the DVD. I don't know if that's the "right" approach but it's what I ended up doing.

Thanks. I subsequently discovered that /mnt/source is there if you are using a DVD. I was using a USB key at the time and it doesn't exist for that.

What version of RHEL were you using? I'm trying something similar with RHEL 6.3 and I don't see a /mnt/source when I use --nochroot.

comment How to enable TLS 1.1 and 1.2 with OpenSSL and Apache
@BenWalther OpenSSL 1.0.1 was released in March 2012 with TLS 1.2 support. The latest version as of now is 1.0.1c. I'm not sure how much of the rest of the post is still valid.

comment how to split a pcap file into a set of smaller ones
A little late, but the reason Wireshark won't read files which are the output of split is because split will divide on exact byte boundaries. This is highly likely to split a packet which invalidates some of the file content.

comment error: libxml2 is required (modsecurity)
In another question you mentioned using CentOS. Why are you installing from source when you could have just done yum install mod_security?

That particular RPM may not work, given that the OS and version being used wasn't mentioned.
