I am a director and senior developer for an Isle of Man based IT company called ITManx, providing technical support and services as well as web development to everyone. I have been a developer for over 10 years, starting with Perl and ASP, before moving to C# ASP.NET.
I keep a tight criteria when writing code to ensure it has agility (ability to change code quickly), security (ensuring data is not vulnerable) and most of all efficiency (optimized code to run its fastest), to ensure the application is reliable.
When writing web applications I take full advantage of Ajax libraries, jQuery being my favourite. I also keep an up-to-date custom library of routines such as database functions to speed up development and minimize 'thought to launch' time.
I have a lot of passion for my work and continually research to ensure what I produce is reliable. I love what I do and will continue to do it for many years to come!
