comment Enable SSH shell access but disable SFTP access
@R.. I think my assumption was that a user who could log in via SSH would naturally not have the permissions to edit the required configs for sftp or start a service. To me it seemed so wildly counterintuative to turn a service off that a user had the power to turn on again, that I didn't even consider the implications of not talking about ForceCommand, etc. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@cwd Some BIOSs/firmwares do have CLI tools as well.

Then your only option is KVMoIP cards to not block video, or KVMoIP devices if you can live with blocked video on the remote PC. I've used Lantronix Spiders for remote offices and guided remote support in hooking them up to PCs I need to work on, and then take them off when I'm done so the user can use the PC.

$400 for a KVMoIP device is normal, and so is a Java web interface. I'm not sure what you were expecting.

So you're running the same query in your application and in the mongo shell, and yet the application takes 76 seconds to return a result, but the shell takes less than one second? You need to supply the lines in your log files that represent the query submitted by your application and then the query submitted by the shell.
