My Gravatar is from Troy Snow's photography. Check him out at his Flickr page and tell him I sent you: http://www.flickr.com/photos/troysnow/ . Even though we tend to use the same goofy kitten face as an avatar, we are not the same person and have no affiliation. Other than good taste in avatars, anyway.

If you don't follow the rules, don't be surprised if you get bit. Active Directory is a reasonable system requirement... unless you have a religious and irrational hatred for Windows.

comment Access RBSU on ML350 G6 remotely
@Karl You need an ILO Advanced license for the remote graphical console (as well as Terminal Services pass-through). ILO Standard still allows SSH access, and furthermore you can access the RBSU as if it were a serial console, but the catch 22 is that in the BIOS you have to set up the Virtual Serial Port (VSP) to support BIOS serial console options. For more info see the RBSU manual which is quite extensive in its discussion of these topics.

comment Routing to multiple apps in a LAN with domains.
@JakeGould I have never in my couple decades of mucking with computers ever heard anyone say that multiple IP addresses assigned to a NIC is in any way unstable or a "recipe for a mess." It's one of the most stable, most common, and least problematic things one can do with a network stack.
