Re-attach to the session and check? Are you trying to find the output of a command running in screen via a script?

comment Remote MariaDB Server - Slow response
This would probably not be as a result of network latency, and yet you still have no guarantee of timely inter-datacenter network response times.. Having said that, 25-30ms ICMP response times would be nearly imperceptible to users if that was the only reason that the forum's front end was slowed down. I suspect there's other things at play here. Probably the database is tuned differently on the new server. I'd look into the application stack, not the network.

comment Out of space on EC2 instance due to docker logs
If you delete that file, the space will still be used since there are open handles to it from running processes. You'll want to truncate the file with :> whatever.log

This is a personnel problem. Get your boss involved with his boss. Technology cannot solve this problem.

comment MongoDB frequently switching primaries
@Nucleon Run MongoDB with the most verbose logging: docs.mongodb.org/manual/reference/configuration-options/… However, the mongod isn't really itself going to know anything about why. The path lies outside of the processes. Probably some tcpdumping is in order.

Side note, you shouldn't be using Google DNS as your upstream resolvers. Use root hints.
