comment How do I disable specific keyboard keys in batch?
This is wildly off topic and inappropriate for ServerFault. I suggest you acquaint yourself with the Help Center, meta site, and just chil on the main site for a while to understand what it's about.

@Reaces Your name has homolytic similarities to the Reese's candy company which makes preservative laden, fat filled candies sold to hundreds of millions of people, so clearly you are interested in the mass murder of the world population over long periods of time making you worse than Hitler.

@TheCleaner Also the street name for someone who makes crime scenes vanish before the authorities show up, so you are clearly here to murder and pillage. QED.

comment DC1 Can't See DC2 Nor Network Machines Can't See Domain
@JukEboX If one is a Primary Domain Controller, then it's not Windows Server 2008 R2. You may as well be calling a diesel truck "steam powered." The multi-master nature, and FSMO roles is completely contrary to the notion of PDC/BDC. There are no such things any more, and never will be again.

Are you running NT4? Because that's the last time there was ever a PDC/BDC. Where are you actually seeing the term "Primary Domain Controller" within your infrastructure?

comment Do SQL backups run faster if you set the databases to read only first?
@joeqwerty OP can neither confirm nor deny that his specific interpretation of "constraint" and/or "time" may or may not be in line with your interpretation of the same. Also, there probably aren't any backups, and everyone is using notpades and crayon.

Re-attach to the session and check? Are you trying to find the output of a command running in screen via a script?

comment Remote MariaDB Server - Slow response
This would probably not be as a result of network latency, and yet you still have no guarantee of timely inter-datacenter network response times.. Having said that, 25-30ms ICMP response times would be nearly imperceptible to users if that was the only reason that the forum's front end was slowed down. I suspect there's other things at play here. Probably the database is tuned differently on the new server. I'd look into the application stack, not the network.
