comment How can I stop nginx from retrying PUT or POST requests on upstream server timeout?

comment Adding TTL to elasticsearch with logstash
if your placing the ttl on the index level then put the index name insteed of tweet. if the ttl is on the type level then put the name of the type.

comment Reloading Salt grains
noramly i will restart salt when this happens and i sometimes will have my salt process in supervisor so that it will come back on its own. and then i also have salt start from cron. since only one version of salt will run it works well fix supervisor and kill the cron one remotly and supervisor should start salt under its own control.

Cheap is always relative depending on the project size income and where they are hosting it. Highschooler on aws having to pay an extra 50$ a month may be a fortune amount of money

comment What is the best way to load balance multiple sock5 proxys on seperate VM's in the same datacenter?
I just looked into the tcp splicing and that is really cool yeah if this is now a stable option it really maks no reason to have some fancy load balancer your paying for.

what is the user trying to delete the files and which user owns the files. try to run "ls -la /tmp/mixtape2" so you can get a full printout of what is going on.
