comment Ubuntu PPTP-server behind the router
Why pptp? It is an ancient, and not very secure. Do you expect to have more then one incoming PPTP connection? Many routers can't handle more more than a single connection through a NAT because of how the protocol works. In any case, it kinda sounds like you want/need an OpenVPN TAP setup.

If you must do it manually, then you probably want to look at @RyanRies's answer.

comment Damaged /vmlinuz and /initrd.img symbolic links after Kernel uninstall
If you can't schedule a reboot of a system to test if you have broken the boot setup, then it almost certainly means you have a single point of failure in your network, that you should be fixing. I have no idea how you expect test if your computer boots properly, without testing that it boots properly. Obviously you should be prepared when you do this to fix your system, if it fails.

comment Is it a good a idea to create a fake raid 1 for guest on ESXi?
You might be better off switching to another hypervisor that will do a software RAID, or support your fakeraid controller, if you really want to use this hardware.

comment Adding multiple 'Limit to hosts matching' for user in Workbench
It is kind of an annoying design decision on the part of Mysql. These days I have basically giving up on using Mysql to restrict access by host and just use '%' in my host fields, and restrict things at the firewall level for the post part.

comment df gives different result when calling for specific device
It almost looks like you have a space in your command so you are issuing something like df /dev/ sdb1 instead of df /dev/sdb1.

comment Server can't reach more than 800mbps
Have you gathered performance stats on the server itself? What is its CPU usage, what is the I/O usage. What is your disk queue lengths, are you using all the RAM. etc. Anyway, gather data, look for bottlenecks, remove them.
