Heck I don't know, I am not entirely following your problem. Just use the verbose switch -vv to get some useful error messages in the situation you are having problems.

pass the -vv option to ssh when you are connecting to u@A. Examine the errors, edit them into your question if you don't understand them. Also look at the ownership and permissions of the .ssh folder itself.

I am not sure why you think su would make a difference over sudo? Replacing one for the other in his command wouldn't changing anything, other then requiring the root password.

Is that really going to help though? He wants to run the commands following the sudo invocation as root. If you look at his example sudo -i; whoami The whoami command wouldn't get run with root privileges.

comment How to enable password for users sending emails to it self?
Does this server also accept email from the Internet? You understand that email coming from the Internet is not going to have your passwords right? BTW, I assume you have already performed a Google search for 'postfix require authentication to send', and read the results? If not, do that now. If you have, then update your question with more details about why you were not able to follow the guides that show up.

Have you tried to do a wireshark capture between the printer and LDAPS server? Do you see the printer trying to connect to port 636 like you expect? Do you see the LDAPS system responding?

comment Domain name is bringing up wrong site
I am assuming this is Ubuntu/Debian? What does your /etc/apache2/ports.conf look like? Do you have an appropriate Listen and NameVirtualHost options set? Also, IMO you should be using the IP in your <VirtualHost ...:80> blocks rather than the name.

comment Do I need two interfaces on the server for bridged OpenVPN setup?
It would somewhat depend on exactly what you are trying to do, but you can have a bridged setup with a single interface.

comment Hiera concatenated lookup from yaml
Copy and pasting the exact error message might be useful. The first line of the profiles::logstash::config class would also be useful to see. Why are you doing an explicity hiera() lookup anyway? Why not just let the auto-paramater-lookup function?

comment last command fails - how to fix it so that it works again?
You know 11.10 is outside of security support right? You really should be planning on upgrading/reinstalling soon.
