I hosted the domain mydomain.com on the IP xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx. I created an A record to point mydomain.com to xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx. On xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx have setup Postfix under the name mail.mydomain.com. I then created an A record to point mail.mydomain.com to xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx and an MX record to point mydomain.com to mail.mydomain.com. Now I can send mail to any address but I cannot receive any. Emails sent from Gmail bounce back with no error message. Below is my Postfix configuration file 'main.cf'

A bounce mail without error message is not possible. Post the error message present in the bounce mail (in your question). Otherwise it is impossible to help you.
