I ran TCPDUMP on the server port 500 and added the capture to the bottom of the post. This tells me that the packets are being received, but the strongswan daemon isn't responding to the request | |

Could be a firewall issue (on either end or in-between), it could be a config issue (e.g. wrong IP/hostname), or there might be a processing issue on the server (check if it receives any messages from the client at all and whether there is anything in the log). | |
