I'm setting up a NTP server on my Ubuntu machine and I want my Raspberry Pi's and (eventually) Window's machines to sync from it. I thought things would be pretty straight forward, however I'm getting an error message in my one client machine:

ntpd[3662]: receive: KoD packet from 192.168.0.199 has inconsistent xmt/org/rec timestamps. Ignoring.

I couldn't find anything useful on this message so I'm looking for help here.

This is my ntp.conf on my server - it's pretty basic:

# /etc/ntp.conf, configuration for ntpd; see ntp.conf(5) for help

driftfile /var/lib/ntp/ntp.drift

# Leap seconds definition provided by tzdata
leapfile /usr/share/zoneinfo/leap-seconds.list

# Enable this if you want statistics to be logged.
statsdir /var/log/ntpstats/

filegen peerstats file peerstats type day enable
filegen clockstats file clockstats type day enable
