Running speedtest-cli on FreeBSD 12.1-RELEASE-p9 on generic i386 gives the folowing error:

Prompt: speedtest-cli --secure
Retrieving speedtest.net configuration...
Cannot retrieve speedtest configuration
ERROR: <urlopen error [SSL: CERTIFICATE_VERIFY_FAILED] certificate verify failed: certificate is not yet valid (_ssl.c:1076)>

Scouring through the intertubes were a variety of options but they didn't work. And I don't want to disable https check. How can this be fixed?
