I have over a million files of a certain type on each server and this causes rkhunter to take a very long time to execute the rkhunter --propupd --nolog triggered by APT_AUTOGEN=true (and other times propupd is requested)

There are a lot of different whitelist options in rkhunter. I would like for files of this type to be ignored (yes at the risk of having malware hide using the whitelisted file extension).

These files types are present across many servers and many paths in each system. I'd like to not have to maintain this whitelist exclusion by directory whitelisting. If that is the only solution I will have to ditch rkhunter entirely.
