We had the domain nextcloud.example.com and issued the certificate for the apache2 server for this domain:

certbot --apache -d **nextcloud.example.com**

and got additional file nextcloud-le-ssl.conf in apache /sites-enabled/ section.

Now we changed the domain name to disk.example.com to reissue the certificate for the new domain and delete the old one. How could we do it with certbot? We have edited the config for the site itself, but how to regenerate the configs for apache2 certbot section correctly?

  • Both requesting and deleting certificates with certbot are documented. What exactly is your problem?
