I have a OVH VPS which runs php 5.3. I would like to update to php 5.6. I've used this solution (How do I upgrade from PHP 5.3 to PHP 5.4.6 in Ubuntu?) :
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ondrej/php5-5.6 sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install php5
but I have this error :
Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... Done You might want to run 'apt-get -f install' to correct these: The following packages have unmet dependencies: libapache2-mod-php5 : Depends: apache2-api-20120211 Depends: apache2 (>= 2.4) Depends: php5-common (= 5.6.18+dfsg-1+deb.sury.org~precise+1) but 5.3.10-1ubuntu3.15 is to be installed libapache2-mod-wsgi-py3 : Depends: apache2-api-20120211 php5 : Depends: php5-common (>= 5.6.18+dfsg-1+deb.sury.org~precise+1~) but 5.3.10-1ubuntu3.15 is to be installed E: Unmet dependencies. Try 'apt-get -f install' with no packages (or specify a solution).
Could you help me in the following steps ? Thank you very much.
When I run
sudo apt-get -f install I get the following error :
