  • SIGTTIN looks more TTY related than a firewall. Can you close stdin to the daemon to hide the TTY from it?

Turns out that one of the logging services had an issue with it's certificate. Interestingly enough it didn't complain about the certificate at all during start or operation, only upon exit.

The exact issue was one or more of these:

  • being in the same file as another service's certificate
  • being renamed to a .CRT file when it originally was a .PEM file.
  • it didn't like the order of it's relevant cert inside this file

So I am not sure if I can have multiple certs within the same file, despite what is said in this answer.

All in all, if you are shipping to multiple services, I'd recommend using multiple configuration files.
