I have an application in SCCM that has two deployment types, one is for full install and the other is for an upgrade if a previous version is detected. For some reason I can't get these to work together. I have a test computer than has an old version of the application installed and should be upgraded. When the SCCM update cycle runs, it detects the applications properly but it never kicks off the upgrade.

This is the first time I have worked with SCCM. Is this not the proper use of deployment types? Is there a better way to do this in SCCM?
