I've got an existing website that is running on 80 and 443 with SSL already. I have a second FQDN that needs to access a different web application.

My second application is Seafile.

I've followed many guides on setting up Seafile on IIS with HTTPS. This one was thorough: https://www.weavweb.net/2015/06/07/seafile-https-sync-on-windows-server-2012r2-step-by-step/

I can access seafile locally without any issue.

SSL cert is installed. I can't quite seem to get to seafile from the outside.

when I goto https://share.myurl.com/ I am redirected to this: "http://localhost:8000/accounts/login?next=/" which, of course, doesn't exist on the client machine.

when I goto https://share.myurl.com/seafhttp I get a bit closer, but can't login: enter image description here

Here's the web.config file:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <location path="" overrideMode="Deny">
            <requestFiltering allowDoubleEscaping="true" />
            <clear />
                <rule name="Redirect to HTTPS" enabled="true" stopProcessing="true">
                    <match url="(.*)" />
                    <conditions logicalGrouping="MatchAll" trackAllCaptures="false">
                        <add input="{HTTPS}" pattern="^OFF$" />
                    <action type="Redirect" url="https://{HTTP_HOST}/{R:1}" redirectType="Permanent" />
                <rule name="seafilehttp" stopProcessing="true">
                    <match url="seafhttp/(.*)" />
                    <conditions logicalGrouping="MatchAll" trackAllCaptures="false" />
                    <action type="Rewrite" url="{R:1}" appendQueryString="true" logRewrittenUrl="true" />
                <rule name="seafile" enabled="true" stopProcessing="true">
                    <match url="(.*)" />
                    <conditions logicalGrouping="MatchAll" trackAllCaptures="false" />
                    <action type="Rewrite" url="http://localhost:8000/{R:1}" appendQueryString="true" logRewrittenUrl="true" />
                    <preCondition name="ResponseIsHtml1">
                        <add input="{RESPONSE_CONTENT_TYPE}" pattern="^text/html" />
        <httpErrors errorMode="DetailedLocalOnly" />

What's going on? How can I get seafile working outside?
