I created a docker machine in AWS via the command docker-machine from a Windows shell, using the appropiate docker-machine driver and having the proper aws credentials.

I now want to start and stop the machine from a linux shell and drop the Windows configuration. I have the aws credentials in place.

I do not want to "create another machine", but control the existing one, as it has things inside.

How can I "bind" an existing docker machine to a fresh docker-machine installation that lists nothing?
