As I have upgraded upgraded PHP 5.4 to PHP 7.2 in centos by using following commands. I have successfully upgrade to php 7.2 Due to some reason cache is not updating. I have custom clear cache functionality to refresh the cache. Is there any other to check why it's refresh the cache? what am I missing here? Should I upgrade PHP again?

sudo yum install https://centos7.iuscommunity.org/ius-release.rpm

Removing current PHP version

 sudo yum remove php-common mod_php php-cli

Update YUM packages

 sudo yum update

Install PHP 7.2

sudo yum install php72u php72u-pdo php72u-mysqlnd php72u-opcache php72u-xml php72u-gd php72u-devel php72u-mysql

additional missing data/JSON error Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function json_encode()

sudo yum install php72u-json

Restart apache server

sudo systemctl restart httpd

After this, I have upgrade a package for memcache also. then I am getting memcache is restarted without any error.

yum -y install php-pecl-memcache
sudo service memcached restart

I have checked php modules using php -m. I am not getting memcache inside it. getting following modules.
